The nicely marked male birds often remain alone, especially since they also spend the winter here, while most of chaffinches females move to warmer area`s. Chaffinches feed on berries, seeds of all kinds, including insects and spiders, you can encourage chaffinch`s into your garden with the addition of bird nests as well as bird feeders.

Squirrel

Squirrels belong to the rodent family, they are skilful climbers - real acrobats in the garden. Their long, bushy tail helps them in balancing and controlling the jumps from branch to branch. Squirrel’s do not hibernate in the winter, but rest in their spherical nests. Every few days they are awake and eat food from their buried stores. Nuts that they do not discover again or do not need as winter feed can germinate and grow into new trees. The stock of the European squirrel is threatened by the coming North American grey squirrel.

Bees

Earthworm

Earthworms rarely come to the surface. Mostly they move with the help of small bristles and their circular and longitudinal muscles through the soil. Earthworms feed on plant waste and Substrate they have some time previously drawn into the earth. Incessantly repeat the nocturnal worms this process of organizing, seizure and digestion, passing through thoroughly the soil layers. So it becomes very important for the loosening of the soil, especially the digestive process of the worms stimulates beneficial microorganisms for the soil and creates valuable plant fertilizer with a high nutrient content - many times higher than that of normal garden soil. Earthworms are hermaphrodites, they breathe through their skin and have only a sense of touch and the sense of light-sensitive cells at the front and rear end.
